Due to the frantic nature of some of these abilities, and that monsters have the same abilities, the screen can fill up rather quickly and bring you from full life to death quickly.

Median XL also offered new and exciting abilities for each class to use. Each characters skill trees have been completely revamped. At times, this would be due to straying into a higher level area which I can’t criticize, other times not. At times, I would be walking along, minding my own business hunting down demons, and instantly would drop dead. The main reason that I strayed from Median XL years ago, was due to the one hit kills. It was one of those mods that felt like they changed a lot of the core Diablo game, but in interesting ways that kept me engaged. Though I’ve tried multiple mods, I put the most time into Median XL. Some of them drastically changed the core game enough for it to seem like something entirely new, others made a few key quality of life changes that overall enhanced the experience. Over the years, I’ve spiced things up by trying various Diablo II mods such as Eastern Sun, Median XL and more recently, Path of Diablo. It’s a game that I re-visit frequently, and is still my go to when I want to dabble into the isometric Action-RPG genre.

For example you have a boots with 4 magic find and gold find and helm with 7 m/g find. There's a small soft that shows you most secondary stats. One item doesnt work because cycling between 0 and for example 4 will get you nowhere. You need to find 2 items with + gold/magic find. You can Add much more to dex/str but after restarting the game your stats will come back to something around 8-9k. The best way is to have 9999 points in every stat. There's no such a problem with str and dex. You can add attribute point the same wayīe aware that more than 14k att points in vitality breaks your hp to 1/1 After level up, look for 5, add 1 skill point, look for 4 etc until you find value.

Good thing, you can boost your gold find to 99999% (more often breaks) so a simple monster can pretty much gold cap you. Kind of necro, but there's a couple of stats you can edit.įirts of all, you can edit gold amount without breaking your character.
